Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

construction workers wearing pink hard hats

Catalyst Construction has embraced the Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure and the issue of breast cancer awareness. During April, Catalyst crews on all job sites will trade in their traditional white hard hats for a special pink version as both a sign of support and a way to spark conversation about the disease.

One in seven women will be affected by breast cancer, and men, in particular, discuss it very little. Catalyst hopes that promoting awareness will encourage the women in our lives to schedule regular exams as well as broaden everyone's understanding of breast cancer so that support for those undergoing treatment may be more effective.
